About Us

Nathalie was raised in France, in the Provence region. From a very young age, she liked baking simple cakes that she would always make from scratch. Many years and life events later, she heard about the Cottage Food Law and saw the opportunity to finally be able to share her baked goods with people outside of her family. Because of the tight requirements of the aforementioned law, she had to focus on products that do not require refrigeration and opted for brioche. She knew exactly what she wanted Natadel's brioche to taste like and took the necessary time to perfect her recipe to get exactly to the result she wanted. She sold her first brioche loaves and madeleines at a local farmer's market in Denver in the summer of 2017.

It's only months later that she remembered a story that her grandmother used to tell about her husband, Nathalie’s grandfather: working as a chef for a wealthy woman, he would make brioche every Sunday morning. Nathalie never got the opportunity to meet him since he passed away before she was born. However, she can't help but wonder whether those genes have perhaps passed onto her and are the reason why she finds herself enjoying making brioche many years later.

In 2019, Nathalie and her husband temporarily relocated to Southern California where she operated her business until their return to Colorado four years later, late 2022.

Enjoy beautiful brioche loaves and all of Natadel's products!
